TPLO Surgery

Our dogs and cats can ‘blow their knee’ just as we humans can tear our ACL. A common injury to a dog’s knee is tearing the Cranial Crucial Ligament (CCL) similar to our ACL. Here at the Animal Clinic, we perform over 60 successful cruciate ligament repairs per year.

Lateral suture stabilization, which we also perform, can be successful for smaller patients.  However, for most dogs, a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) is consistently the best method of repair.
