Spay
and Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP)
Thank you for your interest in
the Spay and Neuter Assistance Program, also known as SNAP. This
program is designed to help all of us to do our part to relieve
pet overpopulation. The program is open to residents of Latah
County.
The Humane Society of the Palouse,
Inc. subsidizes this program and depends on private donations
to keep it afloat. Therefore, they ask that you apply for coupons
only if you are truly in need of assistance in getting your animals
sterilized.
Upon receipt of your application,
they will issue a coupon to you that will provide up to $50 worth
of assistance towards the spaying of your female pets and $30
worth of assistance towards the neutering of your male pets.
Your coupons will be good for one
month and can be used at any established veterinary practice within
Latah County of your choice. Coupons are NOT valid at any low-cost,
or temporary "off site program" clinic, such as Feral
Cat Solutions or Lewis Clark Animal Shelter's Moscow S.N.A.P outreach.
Thank you for your interest in
SNAP, and for being a responsible pet owner.
